Alex Diamond, B.A.

Education History:
B.A., Biology, Brandeis University

Alex graduated from Brandeis University with a bachelor’s in biology in the spring of 2023. During her time at Brandeis, she was an editor of the Brandeis Law Journal, worked in the Brandeis Admissions Department, and worked as an on-campus EMT. Post-graduation, she worked in the Department of Neurosurgery at Beth Israel as a medical & clinical research assistant. Currently, Alex works with Dr. Peter Fried using neuroimaging and non-invasive brain stimulation to investigate cortical plasticity in older adults with Type II Diabetes.

Personal Interests/Hobbies:
Outside of work, Alex enjoys attending Boston sports games, trying new restaurants, practicing yoga, and decorating her apartment with homemade art and thrifted treasures.

Personal Goals:
Alex is excited to learn more about TMS through research opportunities and hopes to continue providing excellent patient care. She aims to use her experience gained in the Berenson Allen Center as a springboard for pursuing further graduate education in the realm of public health.
