During her Bachelor’s Studies, Beatrice acquired knowledge about general psychology with a focus on cognition. She took part in a study on Mild Cognitive Impairment where she investigated the neuropsychological aspects. During her Master’s Studies she specialized in cognitive neuroscience and neuropsychological rehabilitation focusing on the perception and neuroscience of vision. It was during that time period where she learned noninvasvie brain stimulation techniques.

Beatrice is a clinical neuropsychologist who also works with children with selective learning disorders and special educational needs in the Italian School System.

Beatrice joined the BA-CNBS in October 2018 and is currently working on a project focusing on Alzheimer’s disease with the aim to improve treatment using electrophysiological (EEG, EMG), neuroimaging measures (PET, MRI), noninvasive brain stimulation techniques (tES), and cognitive testing.

Personal Interests / Hobbies:
In her free time, Beatrice enjoys travelling, listening to music, hiking and dancing.

Personal Goals:
Beatrice is interested in implementing her expertise in neuroimaging and brain connectivity. Her goal is to improve the combination of innovative and stimulating training and non-invasive brain stimulation techniques both for clinical populations and for healthy people to promote neuropsychological assessment, prevention and treatment.
