Education History:
B.A., Neuroscience & Behavior and Latin, Mount Holyoke College

Meaghan graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 2024 with a double major in Neuroscience & Behavior and Latin. During her time at Mount Holyoke, she worked in a cellular and molecular neuroscience lab investigating the effects of expressing human tau protein in fruit fly brains, specifically focusing on in vivo imaging of calcium dynamics in glial cells. In addition, during their senior year they interned as a student researcher at McLean Hospital studying patterns in limbic circuit functional connectivity in relation to trauma-related dreams within a PTSD population. Outside of the lab, Meaghan enjoys roller skating, cross-stitching, and painting. They also love to play games with their friends and explore the Boston area.

Personal Goals:
Meaghan is looking forward to assisting in the development of novel cognitive ability measurements in Alzheimer’s patients, and combining her favorite parts of previous research projects into their work at the Berenson-Allen Center. In the future, they hope to pursue a PhD in clinical neuroscience.
