Maddie Leake, B.S.

Education History:
B.S., Biology and Psychology, University of Denver

Maddie graduated from the University of Denver with a double major in Biology and Psychology in 2023. Previously she worked in a cognitive neuroscience lab where she conducted her thesis on sleep and emotion regulation. Currently she is working with Dr. Mouhsin Shafi to study the effects of non-invasive brain stimulation and a VR based simulator as effective means for skills-based training for transoral robotic surgery.

Personal Interests / Hobbies:
In her free time, Maddie enjoys backpacking, trying new restaurants, movie marathons, and a good book.

Personal Goals:
Maddie hopes to gain more knowledge on neuroscience research at the Berenson-Allen Center to pursue a medical degree in neurology.
