Maja Burch, B.S.

Education History:
B.S., Neuroscience, University of Vermont

Maja graduated from the University of Vermont’s Honors College in May 2021 after having completed a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with a Pre-Medical concentration. Previously, she worked in a clinical research lab at the University of Vermont Medical Center, examining the relationship between behavioral interventions and health outcomes in pregnant women. She currently works with Dr. Mo Shafi to examine novel risk factors and long-term outcomes associated with delirium.

Personal Interests / Hobbies:
In her free time, Maja enjoys spending as much time as possible in the great outdoors, practicing yoga, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Personal Goals:
Maja hopes to learn as much as possible from her time at the Berenson-Allen Center. She hopes to attend graduate school and to one day work closely with patients in the treatment of psychiatric and neurodegenerative disorders.
