Education History:
B.S., Neuroscience and Health & Counseling Psychology, Emmanuel College

Carol graduated from Emmanuel College with a double major in Neuroscience and Health Counseling Psychology in 2021. Previously, Carol worked in a psychiatric lab investigating epigenetic factors contributing to early onset psychosis in pediatric populations. Currently, Carol will be working with Dr. Mouhsin Shafi to study the effects of medication use on the brain and cognitive function of Alzheimer’s patients alongside TMS therapy.

Personal Interests / Hobbies:
Carol enjoys spending her time trying new foods, exploring new places with friends and family in Boston, and photography!

Personal Goals:
By working at the Berenson-Allen Center, Carol hopes to gain more clinical experience in the field in order to later purse a PhD in Clinical Neuropsychology.
