FDA Advisory Panel Reviews Neuronetics TMS Device for Treatment of Depression

An advisory panel for the FDA has reviewed the Neuronetics application for their NeuroStar TMS Therapy system for the treatment of medication-resistant depression. While the panel found the safety data compelling, issues around efficacy are still being resolved. An official judgment from the FDA should be forthcoming in the coming months.
